The "Sonoff T1”Of ITEAD is a single or multi-channel intelligent switch (depending on the version), wall-mountable, useful for individually controlling one or more users. This is the evolution of the previous model (single channel) called "Sonoff Touch ".
It is a well-built actuator and aesthetically very beautiful: a small glass panel is all that is exposed to the view, with one or more small blue circular "symbols" below which conceal as many LEDs that visually describe the "state" of the channel (on off).
The T1 is on the market in two different forms (identified by the name "US" and "EU") and, for each of the two forms, three different versions: single channel, double or triple channel, for a total of six different components.

The points in common among all the models / versions are:
- the presence of one to three switches Wi-Fi;
- the possibility of control via radio frequency remote control 315 mhz;
- architecture based on SOC ESP8266 (so they can adopt alternative firmware like Sonoff-Tasmota, Espurna etc.);
- the possibility of being configured / controlled via theapp eWeLink;
- the possibility of timing the switching on / off of the four individual channels;
- compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTTGoogle Nest;
- ABS plastic V0 (with flame retardant);
- front panel in 2mm thick glass.
The practicality of the T1 lies in the fact that, not presenting no visible mechanical switch (it's just "touch", appanointed), can be commanded indifferently in manual mode (by simply touching the fingertips on the glass surface at the various blue circular symbols), go app, via radio control or via personal HUB(we'll see later how).
The input voltage may vary from 90 to 250 volts; the maximum current supported by the actuator is 2 Ampere (approximately 400W, based on the input voltage).

The wiring is dependent on the type of model (one, two, three channels), but whatever it is, it provides regardless of input a phase / neutral pair:
Obviously in case of presence of more channels it will be possible to connect more users to them (L1, L2, L3 out):
Il Sonoff T1 (all versions) is natively compatible with the proman appmanagement statement eWeLink (available for Android e iOS), as well as with voice assistants Google Home (Assistant) e Amazon Echo (Alexa).
Furthermore, the Sonoff T1 is compatible with the service IFTTT.

Basically, the line Sonoff (and therefore also the T1) cannot be easily integrated with HUB personal more used. In fact, they exist components, plugins, addon and more to take advantage of the ITEAD cloud features (on which the unit is certified by theapp eWeLink) in order to integrate the components Sonoff to HUB, but they are all solutions however bound to the Internet connection and a cloud, however, external to our personal home automation.
The winning solution is the one granted by-design from ITEAD itself: all its home automation components (the T1 are no exception) they are easily reproprogrammable in order to install alternative firmware (type Sonoff-Tasmota, Espurna etc.) that there untwisting from the binding cloud of the proemployer and endow them with full support a prostandard tocolli such asMQTT.
The adoption of these prostandard tocolli opens at full integration at personal HUBof these powerful components / actuators, allowing not only simple control but also the realization of even rather complex solutions, like that to virtualize non-domotic devices.

It is indeed a component simple and well built: wall mounted provides a pinch of modernity to functionality at a relatively low cost.
Like all family actuators ITEAD Sonoff "Smart Home”, its nature based on ESP8266 SOC makes then the Sonoff T1 excellent candidate for the reprofirmware weight: open-source firmware like Sonoff-Tasmota allow to implement not only the already existing factory functions, but also to perfect them and implement new ones, as well as guaranteeing full domotics integration with our loved ones HUB personal.
